Erin Wolf-Barnett MS, RDN
Clinical Experience:
Erin worked in many clincial settings, including work at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington and Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. She has worked extensively with various patient populations, including those with eating disorders, cystic fibrosis, neurology, and pediatrics. She is trained in a family-based approach when working with eating disorders in adolescents and children. When working with adults, Erin provides a trauma-based approach specializing in severe and enduring eating disorders.
Sports Nutrition:
Erin’s non-clinical experience includes working with college athletic teams, providing individual nutritional counseling to student athletes, and establishing sports nutrition programs. She has also taught college courses on general nutrition, wellness, and sports nutrition.
Education:
Erin holds a Master of Science in Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning from The George Washington University. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from James Madison University.
Monica Cicchini MS, RDN, CSP
Clinical Experience:
Monica has worked in various healthcare institutions, including Phoenix Children’s Hospital, duPont Hospital for Children, Beth Israel Medical Center, and most recently, Georgetown University Medical Center. Her clinical experience spans a wide range of specialties, including eating disorders, pediatric and adult gastroenterology, sports nutrition, failure to thrive, picky eating, short stature, seizure management, diabetes management, and infant feeding.
Non-Clinical Experience:
Monica has experience working with sports dietitians including high school athletes through the Sports Fueling Project. Additionally, she has taught college courses on general nutrition and wellness and has presented at local and national meetings on pediatric GI nutrition.
Passion for Intuitive Eating:
Monica is passionate about the principles of intuitive eating and aims to support her clients on their journey to food freedom, helping them break free from restrictive food rules and fostering a healthier relationship with food.
Education & Early Passion:
Monica found her passion for nutrition during her time as a collegiate athlete, where she learned to use nutrition to enhance her performance.
